There are three professors and five associate professors in the College of Safety Science and Engineering. Among whom one has completed post doctoral program, one holds Ph. D. degree, and 11 holds Master’s degrees. It is the first and only founder of the master’s program in safety technology and engineering, and it has one undergraduate program on safety engineering, a program for students of vocational and continuing education, and for students who take this program as a minor specialty. A new undergraduate program on Security Prevention is being constructed.
    College of Safety Science and Engineering mainly engages in researches on civil aviation safety management, safety standard and statute, safety of dangerous goods transportation, aviation medicine & psychology, human factors, airport environment security, airport vigilance technology & equipment, accident analysis and emergence succor, etc. More than 100 articles have been published in five years, seven of which are adopted by SCI and EI. At present 10 science research projects are underway, and the research funds amount to CNY1,12 million. College of Safety Science and Engineering has about 55,000 copies of English and Chinese reference books. It has a lab of safety engineering, a lab of dangerous goods transportation, a lab of airport security inspection, and a lab of aviation medicine. The worth of all the equipments amounts to about CNY2 million.
