Effective impulse interference cancellation method for broadband aeronautical data link system

Abstract:

In order to mitigate the deleterious impact of impulse interference signal on receiving reliability of the future broadband aeronautical data link communication system,an impulse interference cancellation method based on compressed sensing(CS)theory is proposed. The block-sparse characteristic of impulse signal in broadband aeronautical data link OFDM system is considered and the fact that the virtual sub-carriers in system don't carry modulated symbol is also utilized to obtain measurement vector in the method. Block-sparse Bayesian learning algorithm and the expectation maximum estimation method are used to derive the statistic parameters learning rules of impulse signal. And impulse signal is recovered and removed at last. Simulation results demonstrate that the location and amplitude of impulse signal can be estimated effectively using the proposed method and the BER performance of OFDMsystem is approved significantly after interference cancellation.
