Abstract:

Short-term aircraft utilization forecasts can guide the changes of flight schedule and improve the flight loading factors and profits. The airline aircraft utilization and relationship among other indicators are analyzed,establishing the mathematical model by using multiple regression analysis in econometrics. Example calculation results demonstrate that utilization, loading factors and profit appear mathematical relationships, this method can be used to predict future aircraft utilization and the average error is less than 2%.
