Abstract: Aircraft are susceptible to the impact of severe weather during the flight, which will cause property damage and pose a threat to the safety of the life of personnel. For flight safety, the aircraft needs to be rerouted to avoid severe weather in the route. Therefore, this paper studies the problem of aircraft rerouting, combining with the constraints of various aircraft performance and flight safety, a rerouting planning model with the shortest rerouting path as the goal is established. A rerouting path planning algorithm based on improved artificial potential field method is proposed. Secondly, in order to prevent the problem of unreachable target point in traditional artificial potential field method, the repulsion function is improved, and the simulated annealing algorithm is merged to solve the local minimum problem. Finally, through the simulation of the algorithm, the rerouting path is reduced by 18.52% compared with the traditional method. This algorithm can provide a theoretical reference for the air traffic control department to divert aircraft under severe weather.
