    Conflict detection for free flight using electrostatic approach

    A conflict detection method for free flight based on electrostatic theory is proposed. Flights in such an airspace usually have the freedom to choose routes and speeds,which elevates the complexity of flight environment and conflict probability. The proposed method uses Coulomb force between point charges to evaluate severity of conflict between flights,while the potential system energy gives a global view of flight safety for the whole airspace. And it has the intrinsic capability of multi-flight conflict detection among flight clusters. Both conflict detection and conflict resolution in free flight operation scenario can find benefits with this method.

    HRRP(high range resolution profile)target recognition method based on feature combination and SVM classifier is presented. Firstly,the incoherent average HRRP feature in frequency domain and central moments feature are extracted respectively. Then,they are serially combined into new features. Finally,SVM is used to perform classification. Experimental results with MSTAR (moving and stationary target acquisition and recognition)SAR HRRP data sets show that the proposed algorithm can improve correct recognition rate without target azimuth,and is an effective method for HRRP target recognition.

    Aiming at the problem that air-ground communication of civil aviation is easily disturbed by radio interference,the reasonable selection of field-programmable gate array (FPGA)and high-speed digital signal processor (DSP)are introduced to build a signal processing platform with interference suppression receiver based on blind source separation(BSS),coupling with the signal receiving circuit with RF front end which can receive VHF signal and audio processing module. The signal processing platform mainly includes a real-time complex equivariant adaptive separation vi a independence (EASI)interference suppression algorithm core components. Compared with a normal receiver which is showed in the test results,the adaptive interference suppression receiver can suppress AMor FMinterference more effectively and output clearer voice signal.

    Flight rerouting is an important strategy in the airspace with the limit of heavy weather and flight conflict. To solve rerouting problem,the grid method is firstly utilized to build the model for diverting airspace environment based on numerical weather prediction features in severe weather. Taking air traffic rules and aircraft performance into consideration,a new rerouting path planning method basing on the improved ant colony algorithm is proposed under the limitation of head changing times,turning angels and travelling distance.Finally,the flight path of Guiyang-Changsha is studied. Simulation results show that the proposed method can search a safe and feasible temporary flight rerouting path between local flow constrained area and others,and can improve the utilization rate of the airspace effectively.

    For predicting exhaust gas temperature of aeroengine,a modeling method is performed. Original database is derived from real-time monitoring data of engine monitoring system of PW4000 engine. The mean impact value (MIV)is as taken evaluation criteria for feature selection,screening 8 features as input variables. Extreme learning machine (ELM)algorithm for single-hidden layer feedforward neural network is applied for modeling,After the neural network is tested by monitoring data of the same engine,and model's extended performance is tested by data of that same engine after water wash. Result shows that training time of ELMis much less than that of back propagation algorithm,which is efficient for repeated training for reducing error,and the whole modeling method has satisfactory scalability.

    When failures appear in the aviation engine,maintenance programs are now generally implemented through standardized processes. However,standardized processes cannot contain all the failures,which leads to inefficient problem solutions or no solutions. On the other hand,the same problem may be resolved soon for experienced engineers. Case-based reasoning (CBR)means to use a new case to match with practical application cases,which can imitate the process how those experienced engineers determinate and solve problems. Vector projection learning algorithm combined with grey theory and fuzzy set is studied and is applied for engine fault diagnosis,by which a good result have been achieved.

    Exploration of the relation ship between factors and airport noises can help airport operators adopt effective noise reduction measures. FP-growth-cube algorithm is used to find the association rules between noise and factors.The association rules are represented in the form of belief network. The representation of association rules is intuitive and clear,which can overcome the weakness of association rules,which can not express all airport noise influencial factors synthetically. Experimental results prove the feasibility and effectiveness of the method from the viewpoint of one noise reduction measure-aircraft type selection.

    The deflection basin area index method in deflection tests of rigid pavement of current domestic civil aviation airports is analyzed,pointing out that its main problem is the uncertainty of inversion base modulus,which has a one-time difference from radii of relative stiffness and base modulus back calculated by the American Ioannides'regression formula. Besides,the thickness range of pavement slab applied to this method is lack of quantitative index. According to the above problems,finite element method is used to analyze the theoretical deflection data under 156 working conditions. Based on deflection value of the thin plate theory,regression is employed to analyze test data within the error range of 10%,modified regression coefficient of the deflection basin area parameters can be obtained. By back-calculating the public HWD deflection data of America FAA,it shows that the maximum error is 6.9% between the real value and the base modulus back calculated with the modified regression formula. In addition,based on the thin plate theory and finite element method,10% relative errors of deflection value are chosen,puting forward that the thickness range of airport rigid pavement is 20~46cm applied to deflection basin area parameters method.

    With the growing application of piezoelectric materials,the characteristic analysis of piezoelectric materials is taken more and more seriously. For the natural frequency analysis of functionally graded materials,the Solid 98 element in the ANSYS 12.0 and the parameter designing of APDL language are adopted,supposing that the characteristic parameters of the material change along with the thickness of the plate. The gradient change about characteristic parameters of piezoelectric material is realized,and natural frequency of the functionally graded piezoelectric laminate is analyzed.

    Designing a reliable embedded image acquisition system is very important for finger-based biometrics since it can provide reliable multimodal finger image data for finger-based recognition theory research besides making a technical foundation for real identification system development. In previous work,an embedded device with Windows CE operation for finger-vein image acquisition. However,it can not be extended since Windows CE is incapable of supporting hardware with multiple tasks. To deal with the problem faced in multimodal imaging,a Linux -based embedded system is developed,which can reliably and synchronously output three image modalities:finger-vein,fingerprint and knuckle print in real-time. Lots of experimental results show that the proposed embedded imaging system is stable and reliable in multimodal finger image acquisition,and the imaging quality can meet the demand of theory research.

    After nearly 10 years of research and testing,the ban of personal portable electronic devices on board to surf the Internet has been gradually relaxed,meanwhile,various European and American regulators have launched relevant policy standards. Air China,China Eastern,China Southern,Hainan Airlines have converted related aircrafts. Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China Ltd has also supplement related functions in design of C919.Airworthiness certification specifications for design,addition and modification of radio transmitting equipment become the urgent problem to be solved. Through the study on radio transmitting equipment,solutions of addition and modification technology and airworthiness certification policies /standards of FAA and EASA,a set of airworthiness certification methods of addition and modification technology for airborne radio transmitting equipments are summarized to provid reference for certification methods of authority.

    The core competitiveness is the foundation of enterprises to keep sustainable competitive advantage,on the basis of hub airport competitiveness analysis,the concept of hub airport cargo competitiveness is expounded and the evaluation index system of hub airport freight competitiveness is been constructed. Based on the air freight development status of Shanghai Pudong International Airport and the developing goal of core Asia Pacific region air cargo hub,five freight hub airports are selected as the empirical research objects,including Shanghai Pudong International Airport. The core freight competitiveness of this airport is analyzed by contrast and fuzzy comprehensive assessment. In order to improve and develop the competitive advantage in air freight,and speed up the construction of a core freight hub in the Asia Pacific region,some suggestions and measures are provided to help Shanghai Pudong International Airport to develop its air freight business.

    Based on the theory of competence and job characteristics of aero maintenance personnel,the competency model of aero maintenance personnel is built by expert discussion method;then the weight of each competency element is established by fuzzy analytic hierarchy process;finally the competency elements are divided into four quadrants based on importance-plasticity matrix,pointing out that elements belonging to different quadrants have different training needs. Training needs analysis of aero maintenance personnel based on competence theory can highlight the training focus and avoid training resources waste,and achieve the optimal allocation of training resources.

    The design of key management scheme,whose main objective is to provide secure and reliable communication,is one of the most important parts of security mechanism of wireless sensor network. With regard to the limitation of power,computation and storge recourse of wireless sensor network,a key pre-distribution scheme based on the 4-dimensional symplectic geometry of wireless sensor networks is proposed. The obtained results show that the scheme considerably enhances the network scalability,and it has achieved good connectivity and good overall performance.
