Abstract:

Advanced receiver autonomous integrity monitoring (ARAIM) is an extension of single-frequency RAIM. The real-time and predicted algorithm for ARAIM vertical protection level (VPL) is given based on the analysis of VPL and effective monitor threshold (EMT). For LPV-200 approach, the ARAIM availability for single constellation is studied first, then the research of ARAIM availability for the condition of dual-constellation and multi-satellite failures is focused on. The worldwide availability of ARAIM is simulated,as well as the ARAIM availability for the area of the western route of China, and the simulation statistic for worldwide ARAIMavailability is made. The results show that the coverage rate of RAIM 99.9% availability can reach 100% for the condition of dualconstellation and dual-frequency,which fully meets the requirements of integrity for LPV-200 approach.
