Design of fault diagnosis system for aircraft engine ignition component

Abstract:

Aircraft engine ignition component is the core of the engine. Whether the engine can run safely and efficiently depends on the rationality and reliability of ignition component. For ensuring the normal running of ignition component and improving the safety as well as the continuing airworthiness of the aircraft,it is highly meaningful to do the research of the faults diagnosis of aircraft engine ignition component. Focusing on the aircraft engine ignition component fault diagnosis,the fault feature library is built,basing on the secondary voltage waveform generated from aircraft engine ignition component failures. With the library and shape matching approach,the fault diagnosis system can collect ignition voltage waveform and the corresponding characteristic parameters,then the detected waveform can be compared with the fault feature library, in which way the fault type can be determined.
