Abstract:

ABAQUS is used to simulate surface temperature field and temperature gradient of CFRP sample,Which is subjected to DC current by founding the homogenous solid model and the fiber-matrix model. Fine consistency is reached by contrast of the experimental and simulant results. The tensile property test, the observation of fracture surface and the DSC test of CFRP samples are performed to study the electric-thermal damage to mechanical property and heat resistance. The results reveal that with the electric-thermal temperature increasing, the tensile strength, the interfacial bonding strength and the heat resistance decrease.

Key words: CFRP, electric-thermal damage, temperature field, tensile strength, heat resistance
