Extended finite element method based on Hamilton theory

Abstract:

Based on the elasticity theory of Hamilton system,the corresponding formulae of extended finite element method are derived,and the stress intensity factor of the equal thickness thin plate with crack is calculated. The numerical result is compared with the exact solution,verifying the effectiveness of this method. A new numerical approach to study the extended finite element is offered,and the basic theory of the extended finite element is expanded.
