Abstract:

All the relevant airworthiness terms published by FAA in order to prevent transporting aircraft fuel tank system explosion incidents are sorted and analyzed. Based on two advisory circulars(AC25.981-1C and AC25.981-2A) and the latest industrial application research results of current fuel tank explosion-proofs,explosion-proof design methods of flammability reduction and ignition source alleviation are given. At last,validation methods of ignition source and fuel systemflammability are introduced.
