Abstract: Taking the safety box buckle as the research object, based on the response surface optimization theory, regression equations is firstly constructed to optimize the objectives, and Box-Behnken design (BBD) method is applied to design random experiments. The different lengths, widths, thicknesses, and fillets of the bottom side of the buckle are selected as parameters for model design, modeling and finite element simulation analysis are performed ac鄄 cording to the design parameters. The regression equation between the parameters and the response is construct鄄 ed, and the maximum stress is taken as the optimization goal to optimize the solution. Finally the optimized plan is verified, which can provide a novel optimization method for the design of the buckle.
