On October 25th, Mr. Wang Yang, Regional Director of Marketing Department in China, Boeing Commercial Airplanes, was invited to give a lecture on Aircraft Performance in CAUC, for a better understanding of the cutting-edge technology of Boeing. Mr. An Hui, Boeing Field Service Representative – Tianjin, took part in it as well.
Mr. Wang Yang started the lecture with a question: “What do the Number 7 and Number 4 represent in Boeing 747?”
Then he shared the development history of Boeing 7 series aircraft with the teachers and students. He analyzed the aircraft performance from two aspects, i.e airport and air route, by using multiple simulation videos. Mr. Wang Yang attracted the teachers and students with his humorous explanation and abundant practical experience. The teachers and students asked questions actively and Mr. Wang Yang carefully answered each question in detail. After the lecture, Mr. Wang Yang had a discussion with the representatives of teachers and students in the Boeing Material Room of the library.
More than 400 teachers and students from different colleges of CAUC attended the lecture. Ms. Zhang Qing, Director of Library and Mr. Zhao Yifei, Deputy Director of College of Air Traffic Management also participated it.
Before the lecture, Zhang Qing warmly welcomed all the guests, teachers and students, saying that the library would continue to hold such high-level lectures.
