On Dec. 8th, graduation ceremony of the 11th ASM program was held in CAUC. Attendees at the ceremony are: Mr. Dong Jiankang, President of CAUC, Mr. Marc Houalla, President of ENAC, Ms. Cora HUBERT, Manager of International Airworthiness Cooperation of Airbus, representatives from Airbus China, International Affairs Department, ATM College, Electronic Information Engineering College and SIAE of CAUC, and 32 graduates from the 11th ASM program.
President Dong Jiankang welcomed the guests and showed his congratulations to the graduates on behalf of CAUC. He reviewed the development of ASM program in the past ten more years, and pointed out that up till now the ASM program has cultivated more than 600 skilled engineering management and technical talents on airworthiness, flight operation and maintenance for many companies and institutions of China Civil Aviation Industry. He hoped the graduates will make positive influence on future development of China civil aviation industry with the knowledge and skills provided by this program.
In his speech, President Marc Houalla said, to better answer to Chinese Air transportation needs, and thanks to the Airbus continuous support, CAUC and ENAC have introduced in the Aviation Safety Management program two new Advanced Master courses—one being dedicated to Air Traffic Management and one to Air Navigation Engineering. He also expressed gratitude to the civil aviation authorities of China and France, Airbus and all the staff in the ASM program. He referred the cooperation of CAUC and ENAC as a great adventure and must continue as an example.
Ms Cora Hubert noted that the objective of Airbus’s support to the ASM program was also to ease understanding and exchanges between Airbus, the Civil Aviation Authorities and the Chinese Aviation industry, fostering as well cooperation between Europe/France and China and allowing addressing a great number of future managers in China civil aviation industry. She also indicated that the teams of CAUC and ENAC succeeded to set a truly transnational organization and cooperation between French schools and Chinese University with the support of the Industry is unique.
CAUC President Dong Jiankang and ENAC President Marc Houalla delivered degrees to the graduates. Mr. Chen Chuanrui and Mr. Huang Jun gave a speech on behalf of graduates. They expressed thankfulness to CAUC, ENAC and teachers and staff from the ASM program, and promised that they will make as great contribution as possible to the safe operation of China civil aviation

The 11th ASM program includes two courses---one is Air Traffic Management and the other one is Air Navigation Engineering, which were built in 2012 with the support of EUCCAP. In 2014, Airbus started to provide support to the program. The courses are given by ENAC teachers, assisted by CAUC teachers. After finishing all the require credits and thesis defense, the students will receive a degree from ENAC and a study certificate from CAUC.
