On October 25th, CAUC and Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi (RMUTT) signed an MoU at the Academic Exchange Center of CAUC. Mr. Bai Jie, Vice President of CAUC and Mr. Prasert Pinpathomrat, President of RMUTT signed the MoU on behalf of the two parties.
According to the MoU, the two universities will cooperate on aviation maintenance training and education, and exchange teachers and students. CAUC will assist RMUTT to set up a aviation maintenance training center.
Bai Jie noted that aviation industry is highly internationalized industry, and CAUC has established cooperative relationships with many universities in the world. CAUC would like to expand its international cooperation, and cooperate with RMUTT on disciplinary development, laboratory building and scientific research.
Mr. Prasert Pinpathomrat said that with the development of tourism in Thailand, the air routes are expanding rapidly in Thailand. Currently, there is a lack of aviation maintenance and management personnel in Thailand, so it is very necessary to set up an aviation training center in Thailand, which can not only serve the domestic airlines, but also train maintenance personnel for neighboring countries.
The two parties also discussed the plan for ten teachers from RMUTT to receive aviation trainings at CAUC and communicate with CAUC faculties about the establishment of aviation training center in RMUTT.
