On March 22, Cao Shengli, Party Secretary of CAUC met Mr. Huang Jiefang, Director of ICAO Legal Affairs and External Relations Bureau at the Academic Exchange Center of CAUC. Mr. Guo Rengang, Deputy Director of CAAC Department of Policy, Law and Regulation joined the metting.
Mr. Huang Jiefang used to be the first Dean of CAUC’s Law School. He was invited to attend the serial academic activities to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the establishment of Law School. He noted that, China’s civil aviation’s influence at ICAO has been improving rapidly along with the enhancement of China’s international standing. CAUC has made great contribution to ICAO on aviation law research and informational and technological support. He also proposed some suggestions on CAUC’s disciplinary construction.
Mr. Cao Shengli extended warm welcome to Mr. Huang Jiefang’s visit, and appreciated his long-term support for CAUC’s international exchange and great contribution to the talent cultivation and academic research of China civil aviation. Mr. Cao Shengli said, the goal of university education is to cultivate talented people and the academic forum of the 10th anniversary of Law School included the topic of talent cultivation too. He hoped Mr. Huang Jiefang will continue to help CAUC explore new ways of talent cultivation by introducing resources from ICAO, in order to promote high quality development of civil aviation industry.
