On June 9th, Mr. Hong Shangyuan, the CEO of China Airport Construction Group Corporation (hereinafter referred as “CACC” ) led a delegation to visit CAUC, in order to discuss the planning of Sino-Africa Civil Aviation Academy. Mr. Bai Jie, Vice President of CAUC welcomed the delegation.
Under the guidance of Ministry of Commerce and Civil Aviation Administration of China, CAUC and CACC will jointly build the construction planning of Sino-Africa Civil Aviation Academy.
Mr. Bai Jie pointed out that the construction of Sino-Africa Civil Aviation Academy has been included in the implementation of the follow-up actions of the Johannesburg Summit. The construction of Sino-Africa Civil Aviation Academy will also support the operation of Chinese aircraft in Africa.
Mr. Hong Shangyuan noted that the building of Sino-Africa Civil Aviation Academy is an important national project, which is also a part of the Belt and Road Initiative and Sino-African Regional Aviation Cooperation Plan. CACC has carried out some projects in Africa and would like to cooperate with CAUC to complete the construction planning of Sino-Africa Civil Aviation Academy.
