Keynote speaker introduction:
Dr. Pierre VIALETTES, born in 1977, is a graduate from the Ecole Nationale d'Ingénieurs de Tarbes (ENIT) in France.In 2005, he obtained his Ph.D. degree from Supaero. His thesis dealt with the experimental and numerical simulation of stratospheric balloons for the French National Space Agency, CNES, and for the French National Aerospace Research Office, ONERA. From 2006 to 2008, Dr. VIALETTES was post-doctoral researcher at the institute of Solid Mechanics of the School Of Aerospace of Tsinghua University in China. His researches involved the development of numerical models to simulate the deployment of inflatable structures for space applications. In 2008, Dr. VIALETTES has been hired by Airbus to initiate, develop and manage the R&T portfolio of the group in China. In 2011, his role has been broaden to North Asia, covering China, South Korea and Japan. In his position, he has transformed the strategy from R&T project execution to technology scouting with the goal to identify and universities, research institutes, and companies worldwide.
