The finite element method is generated from aircraft structural analysis problems. This method has been deeply applied to the whole life cycle of aircraft design, validation and verification, maintenance and operation, etc. Using finite element software to calculate and analyze aircraft structural mechanics problems can realize virtual design iteration at a lower cost. Simdroid is a home-grown simulation software, which can simulate the four major physical fields: electromagnetism, fluid, structure and heat, as well as multi-physical field joint simulation. Simdroid supports the development of simulation apps, app uploading, trading, permission management and other functions. The product creatively introduces the concept of “Android” into the simulation field, and firstly puts forward the “simulation cloud” mode of “simulation platform + simulation APP”. In order to deepen the related professional students' understanding of the theoretical knowledge of finite element, to master the engineering practical ability of CAE simulation and analysis and aircraft structural design ideas, and to expand the population of using the domestic Simdroid software, the Finite Element Modeling and Analysis Competition will be held in November 2024 with the strong support of the Sino-European Institute of Aviation Engineering (SIAE) and the Aeronautical Engineering Institute.
