The 2nd session of SIAE Lecture Room on “C919-Motor LEAP X” was held at CAUC Library Report Hall on March 11th ,2011. This session has invited Mr Laroche, Director of China Affairs of CFM engines, SNECMA, SAFRAN, to introduced some knowledge on aircraft engines.
    SAFRAN is a high-tech transnational enterprise which ranks top 500 around the globe and has made remarkable achievements in aviation and aerospace industry. At the very beginning, President Wu Tong Shui delivered welcome speech. After that, Mr Laroche used Chinese to start his speech. What’s more admirable is that Mr Laroche has ever been to Taiwan Province to major in Ancient Chinese Literature and accumulated extensive background in Chinese culture. He prepared a delicately made-courseware with various pictures and video clip in order to attract student’s eyeballs.
    Finally, SIAE students seized this rare opportunity to ask questions they were interested in with French and English and got satisfactory and humorous answers from Mr Laroche.
    Mr Laroche expressed his sincere wishes to SIAE with inscription.
