April 27th, 2013, the 6th session of executive committee conference of SIAE was held in the conference hall of SIAE, CAUC, China. There were more than 27 guests and experts present from home and abroad. They are : Wu Tong Shui (President of CAUC), Dong Jian Kang (Vice President of CAUC), three presidents of GEA, Director of International Affairs of DGAC, committee members from ESA, Airbus (France), SAFRAN, Thales, co-directors of SIAE, deputy director Zhao Hongmei of Department of Personnel and Education, CAAC, Director Li Xin of Science and Technology Commission of CTMB,CAAC, General Manager Zheng Wei Min of Tianjin Branch of Air China and so on.
    The executive committee spoke highly of the work that SIAE has achieved under the cooperative efforts of all parties, extended special gratitude to CAAC and CAUC for their contribution. This session has proposed significant guidelines for future cooperation, faculty construction, CTI accreditation, co-construction of laboratories and so on.
    The Executive Committee is the highest instance, it is composed of 8 members including related government leaders from both China and France, directors and presidents of cooperating universities, and representatives from the supporting companies. The Executive Committee is responsible for the establishment and development of SIAE, provides support on policy and finance, and takes decisions on the strategic development plan of SIAE.
