Recently, SIAE, CAUC was granted an accreditation of 6 Years (Top level)by the French Commission des Titres d'Ingenieur (CTI), as well as the Master of Science and Engineering of Europe. It broke the record of the application for French engineer’s academic rank which kept for 79 years. SIAE became the first institution granted the top level accreditation by CTI.
    There are four levels of the accreditation of CTI, namely: pass, 6 years (period of validity); pass, 6 years ( CTI will propose recommendations for improvement for further accreditation);pass, 3 years or 1 year. SIAE applied for the first time and passed with the top level which broke the historical record of application for French engineer academic rank. It strongly proved that SIAE’s establishment was spoken highly of by CTI and witnessed a new step of development of SIAE.
    SIAE, CAUC delivered the application for accreditation to CTI at the end of 2011 and began the preparatory work for application. SIAE delivered the required materials and reports for accreditation in October, 2012. CTI carried out a one-week on-spot investigation and evaluation. The comprehensive evaluation included: round talk with presidents of CAUC, listening to the work report of SIAE, attending lectures in preparatory cycle and engineer cycle, roundtable talks with teachers and students of SIAE, checking the internship reports, visiting laboratories, consulting Chinese cooperative enterprises for information of interns and on-spot investigation at Airbus and SAFRAN and so on.
    SIAE also becomes the first institution to achieve the top level accreditation at the first application.
