Mr. Patrick KY,the Director General of EASA Paid a Visit to SIAE
On the afternoon of April 24th , 2015，Mr. Patrick KY,the Director General of the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), and Ms. Sylvett CHOLLET, the representative of EASA in Beijing, visited SIAE,CAUC. Professor Bai Jie, vice president of CAUC, received the guests.
The two sides held a meeting. Vice president Bai Jie gave a general overview of CAUC, including disciplinary setting, teacher and student scale, research projects, campus environment and foreign cooperation and exchanges. Thierry LIABASTRES, co-director of SIAE, introduced the establishment background, education mode, faculty team, students’ internship and employment of SIAE.
Mr. Patrick was very impressed with the overall development of CAUC. He was very pleased to see the SIAE successfully integrating the educational models and resources of both China and France. He hoped to further strengthen the cooperation and exchanges between China and Europe and discuss the possibility of cooperation in the field of airworthiness in the future.
During his trip to CAUC, Mr. Patrick and his team paid a on-spot visit to SIAE to learn about her construction and development.
