  Strengthen the management of teachers and improve the engineering ability of teachers

As teachers of engineers, they not only should have a solid theoretical foundation, but also have a strong engineering practice ability.In order to achieve this goal, SIAE has been sending teachers to France for further study since 2010 and sending teachers to enterprises for practice and internship during holidays.Recently, SIAE has introduced a series of new measures for faculty management and teacher engineering ability training.

1. On July 5, 2016, SIAE asked three students who are currently being trained as backup faculty to make reports. They introduced their experience studying and learning, respectively from the propulsion system, structure and materials and other professional points of view.The leaders of SIAE, the directors of teaching offices and some teachers attended the reports and asked questions and gave professional guidance. Finally, they clearly put forward the objectives and key tasks for the future.

     2. In order to comprehensively improve the quality of talent training, enhance teachers' engineering practice ability, promote the integration of theory and practice, and enhance the cooperation between schools and enterprises, SIAE strongly advocated that teachers should take part in the internship in enterprises during the summer vacation.Many teachers applied for  enterprise internships in Beijing, Chengdu and other places.In order to ensure the effect of this internship, the teachers formulated the "Agreement on Internship Responsibility " for each internship position according to the specialty he/she is engaged in, via which, the internship objectives and requirements were made clear, and also the internship tasks were quantified.This measure will help professional teachers to enrich their knowledge, improve their engineering ability, and improve the quality of talent training.In 2016, SIAE will send 9 teachers to enterprises for internship.
