杨新湦教授荣获“天津市有突出贡献专家”称号

  Professor Yang awarded the title of “Tianjin Outstanding Contribution Expert”

        (Personnel Department) Recently, the General Office of Tianjin Municipal Government released 2015 annual list of "Tianjin Outstanding Contribution Experts", Mr. Yang Xinsheng, the dean of SIAE was on the list. The municipal government has awarded a total of 80 academic and technical leaders the title of experts with outstanding contributions to Tianjin, through such following procedures: recommendation, expert review, publicity and audit.

In order to vigorously strengthen the talent strategy and play the incentive role in the construction of high-level talent team, according to relevant requirements, 80 experts with outstanding contributions are selected every three years in Tianjin. The people selected are professional and technical personnel who have long been working in various subjects and fields of natural science and social science, as well as front-line industries of economic and social development, and have made outstanding achievements and important contributions.

Mr. Yang Xinsheng, the dean of SIAE, has been teaching in school for nearly 30 years. He presided over the subject named "The research and practice on a comprehensive platform for a new generation of national ATC system" and won second prize of national teaching achievements. He also taught "The Introduction of Civil Aviation" course, whereby he won the National Quality Video Course Award. He also presided over the subject titled "Construction and implementation of engineering practice teaching system for air traffic control major oriented to collaborative operation" and then won the first prize in Tianjin teaching achievements.  He also served as the head of the teaching team of "Air traffic control course" at municipal level, and led the transportation major to pass the engineering education certification with the longest period of validity.He has won the "Award for outstanding teachers for higher education" and Tianjin "May First" Award for Labor.

During the past five years, Mr. Yang presided over 6 scientific research projects. The "initial controllers integrated measurement system" developed by him obtained successful application in the industry. Besides, he made a series of achievements, especially on the civil aviation airport function status, time refinement management and so on provided the decision-making basis for the Civil Aviation Administration of China.
