Jing Yihong, the Party secretary of CAUC, said that the functional departments of CAUC and SIAE should discuss the development plan of SIAE based on the overall development of CAUC. The functional departments of CAUC should take the opinions and suggestions of SIAE into consideration for the overall development of the university, and SIAE should integrate the plan and program with the relevant policies of CAUC. The original intention of SIAE is to learn advanced French engineering educational philosophy and promote the development of CAUC education. He hoped that SIAE will continue to build a framework suitable for the development of its students in strict accordance with the French education system, and work out an education method suitable for the development of the school. At the same time, he suggested that the evaluation standards for teachers and students should not be lowered, but the evaluation focus should be adjusted.
In his speech, Dong Jiankang, President of Civil Aviation University of China, fully affirmed the achievements made by SIAE and hoped that SIAE would continue to strengthen its confidence and stick to the path of development. He pointed out that the establishment of SIAE was not only a project of international cooperation, but also an innovation. In order to avoid "fatigue", SIAE should establish a mechanism of normalcy, so as to strengthen the education of ideology, engineering responsibility and engineering ethics while improving students' knowledge. He hoped that all functional departments of CAUC could cooperate with SIAE in making plans.
Bai Jie, the Vice President of Civil Aviation University of China, presided over the Work Conference, and said that after the meeting, SIAE and various functional departments should conduct in-depth discussions according to work requirements. He hoped that through the communication within the school as well as the exchanges between China and France, the student training and Sino-French cooperation project of SIAE can be further improved.
Yu Jian, Deputy Secretary of CPC, hoped that SIAE will further clarify the school's philosophy and the target, and organize and make good plans for the development of the school by using resources inside and outside the school. The departments of CAUC shall dismantle the psychological barrier, and work together to run the school.

During the discussion, some of the relevant department heads gave suggestions on 13th Five-Year Plan and "The sustainable development of Sino-European Institute of Aviation Engineering". David Lecomete, a representative of French teachers, said that heads of all departments are welcome to discuss with him the development of SIAE.
Since its establishment in 2007, SIAE has focused on international development strategy and positioned itself as "elite education in the context of the popularization of civil aviation". It aimed at introducing the two French elite education systems: preparatory cycle education and engineering education. It has made and will make achievements in the following aspects: introduction and absorption of foreign elite culture and knowledge, subject construction, talent training, teacher training, laboratory planning and construction, school-enterprise cooperation and international affairs, and sustainable development planning. in 2011, SIAE joined the China-France Education Alliance of the Ministry of Education. In June 2013, the school was evaluated by experts from Commission des Titres d'Ingénieur (CTI). In October of the same year, SIAE obtained the highest level of CTI, namely the certification with a validity period of six years, and the certification of European engineering education institutions. In 2014, SIAE was listed as an important part of the cultural exchange platform between China and France, and then became a core member of the China-France Institutes of Engineers Alliance under the Ministry of Education.
