          (Journalist: Shen Yulong, Student Correspondent Meng Lingye) On the afternoon of November 25, Mr. He Li, former vice president of Air China, was appointed as a visiting professor of Civil Aviation University of China. The appointment ceremony was held in the Academic Lecture Hall of SIAE. The appointment ceremony was attended by Professor Dong Jiankang, President of Civil Aviation University of China, leaders of SIAE, teachers’ representatives and students' representatives. The ceremony was presided over by Mr. Yang Xinsheng, the dean of SIAE.

 During the appointment ceremony, President Dong paid tribute to Mr. He Li's contribution to civil aviation and expressed sincere thanks to Mr. He Li for his support and guidance to the CAUC. Also, he hoped that Mr. He Li can make more and greater contributions to the development of CAUC. Mr. He Li said that Civil Aviation University of China is an institution for higher learning in the civil aviation industry. He was honored to be a part of Civil Aviation University of China and will do his best to contribute his own strength to the development of Civil Aviation University of China.

        After the meeting, Mr. He Li held a discussion in the conference room with the student representatives of SIAE. By relating his own work and life experience, Mr. He Li gave patient answers to the questions raised by the students. He also hoped that SIAE students should do their best to promote the progress of China's airliner industry.
