教育部评估专家廖文和考察中欧航空工程师学院 Liao Wenhe, an expert of the Ministry of Education, visited SIAE

On December 5, Mr. Liao Wenhe, an audit and evaluation expert from Ministry of National Education, the Vice-President of Nanjing University of Technology, Doctoral Tutor, standing member from China Aviation Society and from the Chinese Astronautic Society, member of the Seventh Discipline Review Group of the Academic Degree Committee of the State Council, Vice-Chairman of the Teaching Guiding Committee of Aerospace Specialty of the Ministry of Education, Vice-Chairman of the Nanjing Association of Science and Technology, came to SIAE for an inspection.
During the investigation, Professor Liao Wenhe listened to the work report of SIAE leaders. The report covered the history, orientation, guiding ideology, training objectives, training process (faculty building, curriculum system setting, experimental teaching system, internship arrangement, quality assurance), student development, social evaluation, development planning and so on.Professor Liao fully affirmed the school-running mode, faculty building, personnel training and laboratory building of SIAE. By relating the school-running practice of Sino-French Engineer School of Nanjing University of Technology, he exchanged views on the philosophy and significance of Sino-foreign cooperative school-running and the management of school-running institutions.
Professor Liao also visited the Aero-Engine Principle and Performance Laboratory, Aero-Engine Teaching Simulation Laboratory, Aviation Surveillance System Laboratory, Airborne Flight Control System Laboratory and Aviation Material Performance Analysis Laboratory of SIAE. During the inspection, he was accompanied by the leaders and teachers of SIAE. During this period, he listened to the introduction, talked with the experiment teachers, and inspected the development and utilization of SIAE in The training of experiment ability, and lastly he provided positive evaluation.
Professor Liao Wenhe has been engaged in the teaching, scientific research, development and application of digital design and manufacturing technology for aerospace products. He has achieved a number independent intellectual property rights. He is a well-known expert in this field and has trained a number of high-level digital design and manufacturing research talents for our country.Professor Liao is currently the dean of Sino-French Engineer School of Nanjing University of Technology.Sino-French Engineer School is also a Sino-foreign school approved by the Ministry of Education of China, which carries out the training of high-level elite engineers. It also passed the CTI certification and is committed to carrying out higher education at both basic and advanced levels.Its French Cooperative School is Ecole nationale d'ingénieurs de Metz. Professor Liao's visit has enhanced the communication and understanding between SIAE and Nanjing University of Technology. It is of positive significance to the future development of SIAE and to the promotion of the internationalization of CAUC.
