  Liu Zhengjiang, an audit and evaluation expert from the Ministry of Education, visited SIAE

On the afternoon of December 7, Professor Liu Zhengjiang, an audit and evaluation expert from Ministry of National Education, Higher Education and Research, the Vice-President of Dalian Maritime University, Ph.D. supervisor, came to SIAE for an inspection.The teachers responsible for the undergraduate teaching in SIAE participated in the reception.

Professor Liu Zhengjiang heeded the work report of SIAE and spoke highly of the school-running mode, faculty building, personnel training and laboratory building. He praised the achievements made by SIAE in the school-running practice of Sino-foreign cooperative projects. He also exchanged in-depth opinions on the concept of Sino-foreign cooperative school-running.

During the investigation, Professor Liu also visited SIAE laboratories: including the Lab of Aeroengine Principle and Performance, the Lab of Aeroengine Teaching Simulation, the Lab of Aeroengine Material Performance Analysis. The leaders and teachers of SIAE introduced to Professor Liu the functional orientation, construction and operation of the laboratories, as well as the achievements made by students in their practical abilities.

Vice President Liu Zhengjiang is fully committed to the analysis and research of ship maneuvering, collision avoidance, traffic information engineering. He has made a number of innovative achievements with independent intellectual property rights. Hence, he is a well-known expert in this field and trained a number of high-level research-oriented talents.
