As a preparatory teacher of SIAE, Wang Yaru, who was sent to France to study, passed the 2017 French preparatory teacher's selection of Physics-Chemistry with excellent scores, and obtained the qualification for being a teacher in the French elite preparatory physics-chemistry course. The selection for French elite preparatory teacher is the French “national examination”, which aims to select the best preparatory school teachers with a high elimination rate (the rate reached 94. 16% in 2017). In France, only those who pass this exam are eligible to teach in elite preparatory schools and enjoy the treatment of national civil servants for life.
The examinations Wang Yaru participated in are divided into two parts: written part and oral part. The written examination covers a very wide scope. Out of the 1490 people who took the examination, only 162 people passed and were eligible to enter the oral examination. Finally, 87 people obtained the qualifications of the preparatory teachers through the oral examination.
Wang Yaru was selected by Sino-European Institute of Aviation Engineering from the 2010-grade students as a preparatory teacher for SIAE. In September 2014, she went to France to pursue a master's degree. In 2016, she participated in a one-year training for elite preparatory teachers' qualification. When she shared her thoughts with the SIAE faculty of preparatory cycle, she said that to prepare for qualification exam, she not only needed to review the physics and chemistry, but also to master the syllabus, teaching skills, as well as to improve team awareness, and the capabilities to interact and cooperate with other teachers. French preparatory education attaches importance to experimental operation. Therefore, during the training process, the participants were divided into pairs and conducted a lot of experiments. Moreover, they were asked to link the experimental outcome to the theory. Consequently, their ability to independently analyze and solve problems in this process has been significantly improved. On top of that, they have achieved good reading ability and developed a good scientific accomplishment, a rigorous attitude and the rigorous attitudes towards science.
SIAE expressed its warm congratulations to Wang Yaru's success and hoped that she would bring her achievements of her studies in France back to her alma mater, and contribute to the development of SIAE as well as Civil Aviation University of China.
