The 12th Session of SIAE Advisory Board Was Held in CAUC
On May 16th, 2019, SIAE held the 12th Session of SIAE Advisory Board in CAUC. Representatives from cooperative enterprises including AMECO, Xiamen Airlines, AECC Commercial Aircraft Engine Manufacturing Co., Ltd., Astronautic Jinggong Research Institute, Shanghai Airctaft Customer Service Co., Ltd., CETC Avionics , Airbus China, Thales and so on, attended the session, listened to the report on the students’ internship, and conducted in-depth discussions on students’ internship and employment.

The French co-director first introduced the overall situation, internship enterprises as well as subjects of SIAE students’ internship in the previous year. He gave detailed description as well as analysis on PFE internship defense as well as their performance. He also compared two year’s data on internship. Subsequently, he introduced the SIAE’s preparations for CTI accreditation as well as the internship demands and arrangements of 2019. Representatives from various enterprises spoke highly of SIAE students’ performance in internship as well as in work. They strongly appreciated SIAE students' solid mathematical foundation, thinking and innovation ability, communication ability in foreign languages and independent practical abilities. At the same time, the representatives also conducted in-depth discussions on the SIAE’s revision of syllabus, optimization of knowledge structure, improvement of internship, and deepening of school-enterprise cooperation, and made a wealth of opinions and suggestions.
Representatives of the participating companies unanimously stated that they would actively cooperate with SIAE’s CTI accreditation work, faithfully implement this year's corporate internship program, and continue to pay attention to and give full support the development of SIAE. Both parties expressed their willingness to further expand cooperation areas and innovative cooperation methods, promote the construction of school-enterprise joint cultivation bases, and work together to cultivate more excellent engineering and management talents who meet the needs of the industry and can take the responsibilities of the times.
