In order to enrich the campus cultural life of the students and endow the students a deeper understanding of the school, at 2:00 pm on October 20th, 2017, all the 2017-grade classmates of the Sino-European Institute of Aviation Engineering visited the Archives and Historical Documents Exhibition of the Civil Aviation University of China in the Mingde Building.

The information on the exhibition board were explained by the committee member for propaganda of the two classes. The exhibition was divided into two parts: historical development and the special subject specially for Mr. Fang Huai. The history development part mainly introduced the development and reform of various civil aviation schools and how Civil Aviation University of China was gradually established. From 1951 the Second Civil Aviation School  under the control of Central Military Commission's the Civil Aviation Administration, to the present Civil Aviation University of China, the whole development process the school has witnessed the development of the civil aviation of China. By understanding of the history of the school, the students strengthened their confidence in realizing their dreams in civil aviation. Within the special subject specially for Mr. Fang Huai, the exhibition introduced Mr. Fang Huai’s principal contributions and achievements in the civil aviation industry, and the principal's expectations for the younger generation.

The memories of the past can be recalled, and the memory will last forever. The archives and historical documents showed the development of the school. By watching the exhibition, the students' patriotic confidence was inspired and their love for the school was strengthened. They all expressed that they would study hard in the future and contribute their efforts to achieve the goal of “building a world-renowned civil aviation institution of higher education  that enjoys international reputation”.
