As a student of Civil Aviation University of China, we should understand civil aviation-related professional knowledge. As a SIAE student, we should stay true to the mission and clarify our goals and beliefs for 6 years of academic career. To this end, on 14 April 2017, the 146041A Youth League Branch launched the activity of Youth League organization themed "My Efforts for the Development of Civil Aviation" of “stay true to the mission".

As a student of civil aviation, we should be familiar with all domestic and international aviation-related information. Hence, the first section of this activity was a knowledge competition about aviation. The questions covered a wide variety of aviation knowledge such as aircraft models and airline rankings. Every time the host raised questions related to aviation, everyone responded enthusiastically. All the students, being them the ones who got the right answers or the one who were slightly incorrect, they all enjoyed themselves to the full.

In order to help everyone better understand the profound connotation of the civil aviation spirit, the second section of this activity was to examine whether the students have the capability of observing events meticulously in the face of practical problems, and to think about them, and finally to obtain an excellent solution. For civil aviation people, it is our duty to “guarantee the safe take-off and landing of each flight”. We need to have rigorous and scientific professionalism and professional ethics. Consequently, our Youth League Branch simulated a scenario, in which we set all students as passengers surviving a plane crash, and assigned each person a civil aviation-related career (captain, flight attendants, maintenance personnel, etc.). Everyone had to find out what they need for survival. All classmates were divided into 5 leaderless groups to discuss and communicate with each other, and they classified all items into different levels of significance. During this process, we fully realized the responsibilities as civil aviation personnel and profoundly understood the profound connotations of contemporary civil aviation spirit.

As a student of CAUC, we carry on our shoulders the future of China's aviation industry. We wish all civil aviation people that they stay true to the mission, vigorously promote and build the spirit of civil aviation and contribute to the motherland's aviation industry.
