SIAE Teachers and Students Build a Promising Future with Ushering in a New Year

  At 18:00 on January 9, 2017, the Dean of SIAE, Mr. Yang Xinsheng, the Party Committee deputy secretary Mrs. Wang Jinhong, and Mr. Xu Zhou, the Party Committee Secretary, all the instructors and student leaders held a symposium in the 414 classroom. In the symposium, they discussed the future for development of SIAE and the students' training objectives, and the teachers also answered the students' doubts.

Mr. Yang Xinsheng, the dean of SIAE, took a stance from the perspective of "the Belt and Road Initiative" and of the development of China’s aviation industry, elaborated on the college's development philosophy and personnel training objectives. As a model for Chinese-foreign cooperation in running schools, the SIAE has been enjoyed a lifespand for 10 years. In this decade, the Institute has achieved a lot of achievements. In 2015, it was awarded as a model of Chinese-foreign cooperation in running schools. The Civil Aviation Administration attaches great importance to the development of Sino-European Institute of Aviation Engineering and it also gives directional guidance to the training objectives of SIAE students. Among the 3 former grades of SIAE students who have graduated, many outstanding graduates have assumed important tasks in different jobs in the field of civil aviation and have played an important role. However, with times changing endlessly and the Institute gives high hopes for the students' future development. The future employment cannot be confined to the civil aviation transport industry, but also should be devoted to the civil aviation design, manufacturing, and R&D enterprises. The students should learn and work in line with the principle of “based on Civil Aviation Industry and serve the industry" so as to contribute to the development of civil aviation in China.

For students' own development, the Institute has put forward higher requirements. Students should have long-term vision and down-to-earth attitude in order to make further improvements in the long-term. Meanwhile, students must have full confidence in SIAE, and must exert strict requirements on themselves, and must work hard to achieve the maximum value of life.

On top of that, students also have to face up to the various problems that SIAE has encountered in the in operation. They must work together with the Institute to actively solve problems. They must not neglect SIAE's efforts in improving the teaching environment and building up the faculty, and on top of that, they should be patient and make continuous progress.

In his speech, Secretary Xu fully affirmed Mr. Yang Xinsheng's request for the development of students and SIAE, and furthermore gave a detailed response to the problems that the students had in their mind. The Institute must adhere to the strict standard for students, in line with the sense of responsibility for the school as well as for the students.

In the end, the students actively gave feedbacks pertinent to their opinions on the Institute's construction and curriculum structure. Only with open communication and exchange, by discovering problems and solving them, and by constantly curbing and eliminating existing problems can we better build and develop SIAE. We hope that Sino-European Institute Of Aviation Engineering will have a splendid future.
