Strengthening Political Accomplishment and Playing Exemplary Role

My name is Chang Jiaze, member of the Communist Party of China, 2015-Grade Postgraduate Students ofSino-European Institute Of Aviation Engineering, and the committee member in charge of organizing of the Second Party Branch of Students in SIAE. I joined the party organization in July 2011. I have five years of party age, and spent more than five years in SIAE. The five-year period is a process of change and growth for me. Now when I look back in retrospect, I am filled with mixed feelings:

Political accomplishment - with firm stance and equipped with high-level consciousness

 To become a qualified CPC member, first of all, your own ideology must be strong and you must learn to promote yourself. When I first entered CAUC, I was still an immature probationary party member in every respect. Under the leadership of the outstanding party members of Second Party Branch of Students in SIAE, I completed the transformation to be a qualified party member step by step. During this five-year period, I actively studied the party’s theoretical knowledge and participated in the "Two Studies, One Action" Campaign and series of Party branch activities. My accomplishments enjoyed constant improvement. I also spent the holidays traveling to Yanan, the revolutionary sacred place, visiting the Nanniwan Memorial Hall and the former residence of Chairman Mao. The glorious deeds of the revolutionary ancestors deeply infected me and strengthened my belief in communism. However, to be a great CPC member, it is not enough to promote myself but also to know how to influence others. I have been actively participating in the Party branch meetings and other branch exchange activities and exchanged learning experiences and thoughts with other party members and activists of the Party branches. At the end of May of this year, I organized and participated in the “Talking about Party Constitution” activity of this Party branch to bring the Party Constitution into our deep memory. These activities enabled me to strengthen my own party accomplishment while helping others to progress.

Avant-garde model - strictness in self-discipline

General Secretary Xi once said: “It takes a good blacksmith to make good steel. ” As a student party member, I have actively played the vanguard role of party members in the study and work. In terms of learning, under the guidance of my teachers and with my hard work, my academic achievements have been continuously improved, and my subjects have achieved outstanding results. My comprehensive assessment has been at the top 20% of the grade level, and I also successfully passed CET-6, French level 4, and computer level 2. I also made achievements such as the second-class scholarship, third-class Airbus scholarships, and first-class postgraduate scholarships, among others. After entering the higher grade, I gave play to my advantage in mathematics learning and used my spare time to carry out the mathematics COLLE for junior students. COLLE is a featured course in SIAE to help students to improve their maths. As a postgraduate student, I actively participated in scientific research activities and assisted my instructor in the study of aeroengine vibration source identification. In terms of work, I actively participated in the construction of class and Party branch, and served as the committee member in charge of organizing. I contributed my effort to assist my class to achieve the honorary tilte "outstanding class". I served as the Party branch leader, as committee member in charge of popularization, and committee member in charge of organizing of the second branch of SIAE and helped completing the work of the branch organization. During my tenure, I trained and developed 19 party members, organized many branch conferences, and led the members of the branch committees to successfully complete the Party branch projects and thebranch activities such as "Two Studies, One Action" Campaign. Hence, I have made great contributions for the Party branch to achieve the honorary title of "Excellent Party Branch".

Action model - selfless dedication with inheritance awareness

As an outstanding CPC member, I must be ideologically strong, as well as focus on action. In the past five years, I have been actively participating in various volunteer activities. Upon entering the university, I joined the Student Volunteers Department of the Student Union and organized and participated in a series of activities to care for migrant workers. In May of 2014, I went to the SOS Children's Village in Tianjin with other members of the Party branch to offer assistance to children. In July last year, I participated in the Tianjin Helicopter Fair as a volunteer, contributing my effort to the fair. In April of this year, I joined the teachers and other members of the Party branch to participate in the “Learn from Lei Feng” event in Huaming Town, and promoted Lei Feng spirit through street interviews and issuing promotional postcards. Of course, the strength of an individual is limited, and the inheritance of volunteer spirit is even more important. This year marks the sixth anniversary of the activity of SIAE to care for the children of migrant workers in Limingzhuang Primary School. On June 1st of this year, I led the new members of the Party branch to Li Mingzhuang Primary School once again and passed the mission of caring for the children of migrant workers to 2014-grade members of our Party branch. After the event, the President of Li Mingzhuang posted an online message: although the students and grade instructors are not the same year by year, the care for the children of migrant workers is eternal! In the future, we will work harder to inherit this activity.

General Secretary Xi once said in his reply to Peking University students: “Be pioneers and devotees who have the courage to run in front of the times.” This is an encouragement and spur to our young people. As a student CPC member, I will work harder to make my own contribution to the prosperity of national rejuvenation of the motherland!

Feelings and Experiences from "Two Studies, One Action" Campaign

During the "Two Studies, One Action" Campaign, in order to allow the students to better understand the Party Constitution, I organized and participated in the Party branch's "activity "Sticking to "Two Studies, One Action" Campaign and give full play the exemplary role". Via studying the party constitution once again and reading aloud the Party Constitution, the spirits of Party Constitution is hence engraved into our minds. This activity enabled me to further understand the party’s organizational structure and disciplines, and strengthened my understanding of the obligations of party members.
