Looking for Role Model around us—Interactions with senior student Qi Li

On May 12, 2016, Sino-European Institute of Aviation Engineering invited Qi Li, an outstanding student of College of Air Traffic Management to share her experience on our activity "Looking for Role Model around Us" in Room 220.

1. Introduction

Qi Li, postgraduate student in the 3rd grade of College of Air Traffic Management, majoring in transportation planning and management.

 She has achieved tremendously in academic research, published nearly 6 academic papers, including 4 in Chinese core journals. She participated in a number of provincial and ministerial level projects, served as the main members in the project team and as student leaders, and went to the North China Regional Administration Bureau and the North China Air Traffic Control Bureau to investigate and survey. She has accompanied the instructor to the Air Traffic Control Bureau to participate in an expert review meeting of the book “An Introduction to Air Traffic Management Education”.

Scientific research projects:

(1) Humanities and Social Sciences Youth Fund Project of the Ministry of Education (Study on Spatio-Temporal Characteristics Measurement of Hubs' Center Radiation)

(2) Civil Aviation Safety Capability Project (Study on hub airport flight schedule management based on the concept of hub radiation)

2. About the Exchange

Qi Li shared the experience and difficulties in her scientific research projects, the skills to publish papers, the layout of report and notices, oral defense for graduation, work and study.

    Next, she talked about the recent situation of employment, hoping that everyone can supervise themselves based on the current employment situation, and make everyone understand the current market demand for talent, and encourage us to continue to enhance our own capabilities. In addition, she also specifically explained the use of software for everyone to facilitate future learning and work.

 All the students who participated the exchange expressed that they had obtained quite a lot. Her advice offers a valuable guidance for their own academic research. They hope that there will be more similar exchanges of experience!
