On the evening of November 1, 2022, the Psychological Mutual Aid Association of the Sino-European Institute of Aviation Engineering at Civil Aviation University of China hosted a themed exchange session titled "Stepping Far, Starting Near: A Dialogue Between New and Senior Students" at Classroom 24 in the North Building on the Dongli Campus. The event was organized specifically for the freshmen of the Class of 2022.

The exchange session featured senior students from sophomores to postgraduates, who led the freshmen in five groups for interactive discussions.

The senior students began by sharing their experiences of the first-year preparatory program, highlighting both the vibrant yet challenging university life and the substantial academic workload. Following this, a live Q&A session was held, during which the freshmen raised various questions about academic studies, university life, and professional development. Topics included how to balance different subjects effectively and how to manage both academic responsibilities and extracurricular activities. The senior students provided thoughtful and detailed answers, addressing the freshmen's concerns and sharing personal challenges they had encountered during their own academic and university journeys. They also offered practical solutions based on their experiences.

This exchange session proved to be highly beneficial for the Class of 2022 freshmen. It not only provided them with a more comprehensive and in-depth understanding of university life but also encouraged them to reflect on how to make their time at the Sino-European Institute more meaningful and fulfilling.
