To enhance university-industry collaboration, stay updated on industry trends, and improve students' job market competitiveness, SIAE invited representatives from the HR and technical teams of Thales (Beijing) Technology Co., Ltd. to conduct an employment guidance seminar. The event took place in Room 526 of SIAEt on October 18, 2024.

Lin Jiaqi, an HR specialist at Thales, provided professional guidance on topics such as self-assessment methods, job target analysis, résumé writing requirements, interview skills, and career planning. The session helped students gain a comprehensive understanding of the job application process and acquire the skills needed to stand out in future job hunts. Additionally, Wang Fan, a 2020 graduate and now an Operations Support Engineer at Thales, shared his experiences as a student at SIAE. He offered advice on academic and career development and addressed professional questions, helping students better understand industry trends and employment prospects.

The seminar was successfully conducted, advancing the institute's university-industry collaboration initiatives and fostering the development of career education and planning systems. The institute continues to promote its "Career+" brand series of events to enhance students' career planning awareness and abilities.
