Dear Teachers,

In accordance with the deployment of the university’s Party Committee, we will continue to deeply study and implement the spirit of the National Education Conference, while coordinating development and safety. With a high sense of responsibility and full mental energy, we will focus on the critical phase of the review evaluation process and warmly welcome the upcoming Third Party Congress. In line with the university’s requirements for laboratory safety work and the Theoretical Study Center Group's plan for October, we have organized the "Study and Implement the Spirit of the National Education Conference and Promote High-Quality Development through Practical Actions" expanded meeting of the Theoretical Study Center Group and the special session on laboratory safety work (Special Discussion on Safety, Stability, and Ideological Awareness). The specific arrangements are as follows:

Time: 14: 30, October 25, 2024

Location: Conference Room 526, SIAE

Participants: All members of Theoretical Study Center Group, department-level cadres, department heads, laboratory directors, and safety officers of each laboratory.

Content:

1. Study of the First Agenda Item (5minutes);

2. Concentrated study of the Ministry of Education's press conference video on implementing the spirit of the National Education Conference and promoting high-quality development, covering two main areas: progress in cultivating outstanding engineers in China and the next steps, as well as the Ministry of Education’s further efforts to promote innovation in the university science and technology system and mechanisms (20minutes);

3. Lead the study of the 20th Central Committee's Third Plenary Session, focusing on: Advancing the modernization of the national security system and capabilities (5minutes);

4. Study the spirit of the university's laboratory safety work meeting and deploy various tasks for SIAE (15minutes);

5. Study and discussion of the materials for the report to the review evaluation expert group from SIAE (10minutes);

6. Special speeches based on the study of the spirit: Shi Lei, Wang Fusheng (10minutes);

7. Department heads, branch leaders, and office directors will present an analysis of safety, stability, and ideological work (15minutes);

8. Summary (10minutes).

Meeting Requirements:

This meeting is both a focused theoretical study session and a work meeting aimed at implementing the requirements from higher authorities and the practical needs of the college. It is also a re-deployment to ensure the smooth conduct of the review evaluation and the Third Party Congress, strengthen the safety defense, and guarantee high-quality development. All participants are required to attach great importance to the meeting and prepare in advance.
